SnowMen - "Bonhomme"

What a wonderful time - snow, family, friends, sunshine for the wedding, and laughs galore! I am going through withdrawal in this empty house back home after having 25 running around for a week. The house was enormous, although not sure why you put white carpet throughout a rental. Red wine does not bode well on it.

My favorite line of the week was from Jonah (Casey's son, my grandson...) "Ya know Nanna - I thought I wouldn't like French, but it's like it's own Secret Language, and very cool".

"oh the weather outside is frightful..."

Don't be fooled by the pretty color - it is really COLD and snowy up in Rochester (uh, 12 inches yesterday, with a high of 20), flights are going to be a challenge for everyone, and we are all keeping our fingers crossed we get there in time for the wedding next week. John is still mumbling under his breath why the wedding isn't here, where it's warm and every extremity of your body doesn't have to be covered by polar fleece. I have my beloved Ugs that I plan on keeping as permanent fixtures on my feet.
Other than that, it is going to be so much fun. Everyone has been calling the last few days and we all say the same thing - that we are smiling over the laughs to come. I love watching my kids and their friends and cousins together. And I love watching John, his brother, Morgan and now his brothers all together. They are just too funny.
