About a year and a half ago when I went to Paris with John, we all went out to Versailles. It is really breathtaking with the gold , the crystal chandeliers, and room after room of incredible wealth and luxury. And lots of tourists. I caught this group outside one of the windows, looking down at the courtyard, and kept it for all this time until I figured out what size I wanted it. It ended up 36x36 and just love the way their clothes, cameras, and tiles all worked out. It's one of my favorites for the City Art Gallery show, which is tomorrow night.
